I am a therapist-in-training at the Toronto Institute for Relational Psychotherapy, a school recognized by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I see clients under supervision from experienced faculty clinicians. I am a member of the Canadian Association for Psychodynamic Therapy, and I abide by its code of ethics. I have finished the academic components of my psychotherapy training, and I’ve also completed separate trainings in harm reduction, anti-oppression practices, and overdose prevention.
I also write, teach, and edit. And I’m a volunteer at Sistering, a drop-in centre for marginalized women, trans, and gender diverse people. My educational background is mostly in writing and literature—I attended Concordia, Boston University, and Stanford. I grew up in Antigonish, Nova Scotia.
I am currently seeing clients on Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays.
